The contest this year has had more than 500 judges, including prestigious chefs, tasters and food critics.
They have met for 60 days to deliberate among the large number of food products presented each year.
One of the most prestigious competitions in the world of olive oil is held in Los Angeles, where prizes are awarded in different categories depending on the intensity of the oil
(Delicate, Medium and Intense).
Our oils were the recipients of numerous awards, on the one hand our AOVE Picual ÁGURA won the Gold Medal in the Medium Intensity category.
The same category in which our AOVE Coupage ÁGURA scooped the Bronze Medal.
In addition the ÁGURA image was recognised with a Silver Medal in the Best Packaging category.
Considered the third most important international competition for extra virgin olive oils, our Coupage was presented with the Gran Prestige Gold Award (with a score of 92 out of 100) and our Centenarian Olive Oil with the Prestige Gold Award (with a score of 80 out of 100).
The German culinary magazine selected our Coupage and Centenarian Olive Oil as Best Oils.
For this edition more than 500 brands of Extra Virgin Olive Oil were presented from across the five continents and judged by an international jury of experts from Germany, Italy, Greece and Spain.
Flos Olei, the Italian guide for the best extra virgin olive oils in the world this year includes AGUILAR SEGURA oil in their list of the most valued oil at international level.
The guide is edited and published by Marco Oreggia, journalist, enogastronomic critic and expert taster, with the collaboration of Laura Marinelli, also a journalist and expert taster. They have recently published the new edition of the world’s best extra virgin olive oils.
Our oil has been awarded with a Gold Medal in the International Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition Olive Japan.
The Japanese olive oil Wine-Waiter Association, the most important in the Japanese market, describes our oil as:

The Olive Japan contest is one of the most prestigious at international level, where all olive oils from all over the world, and with the highest quality, participate.
Great Taste Awards is an international award given by members of the restoration world in England, prestigiously renowned chefs, food critics, restorers, etc.
They classify with one, two or three stars the products with the highest quality. We have received two stars in the award for international prestige, and they describe our oil as:
